These tracks of Anilda's immortal compositions were provided by Shri Satish Chopra, an avid collector of rare music and als0 a senior member and well wisher of Sangeet Smriti.
It includes the very first rack composed by him 'Tere poojan ko bhagwan' by Ratanbai, and a rare rendition of 'Dil jalta hai to jalne de' by Anilda himself at a private baithak
Tere Poojan ko Bhagwan - Bharat Ki Beti 1935- First song composed by Anilda and rendered by Ratanbai. Many do not know that Anilda was the pioneer of the concept of 'Playback singing' .
Pee bin soona re- Raag Jogiya and Raag Bahar, a part of the raagmala of the four seasons composed by Anilda in classical format and rendered by Manna De and Lata Mangeshkar for the film 'Hamdard' (1953). This version has accompaniment by Pt Ram Narayan on Sarangi, instead of the flute accompaniment by Pannalal Ghosh in the film
Ritu aaye ritu jaaye sakhiri- This classical composition in Raag Gaud Sarang and Gaud Malhar is rendered by Manna De and Lata Mangeshkar for the film 'Hamdard' (1953) . Each raaga represents a season (ritu). This version is not from the Original soundtrack of the film, but was re-recorded with accompaniment on Sarangi by Pt Ram Narayan. The Original soundtrack had flute by Pannalal Ghosh instead of the Sarangi.
